It is vitally important for any photographer to connect with their clients to produce photographs with feeling, passion and emotion that brings out the true personality of the subject. I have been told by my clients (and they are the only people that really know) that I do this really well and I make them feel at ease and relaxed. I started out in photography at a very young age and can always remember having a camera in some form but I never really took it seriously until a few years ago. I was the unofficial photographer for a couple of weddings and realised I had an uncanny ability for getting the right shot at the right time. Following this several people asked me to be the photographer at various functions and eventually I plucked up the courage to try and make a go of it professionally. After investing a considerable amount of money into more professional equipment (and still investing by the way) attending a multitude of seminars and training courses I now specialise in three main fields Portraits, Weddings and Event photography. I am based in the fantastic setting of Weardale, County Durham which allows me to be central to the North East of England and in close proximity to Durham, Newcastle, Darlington and Bishop Auckland providing portrait and wedding photography whenever required.
